on the moisture from those around him, almost wiped out Sonya along
with the rest of the audience. He was eventually defeated and killed
when Sonya outwitted him into striking himself with his own lightning
bolt attack.

Bio: Sub-Zero is one of Shang Tsung’s most lethal and capable
underlings, he is also a prominent member of the Lin Kuei, a legendary
band of Chinese mercenaries from whom the principles of ninjutsu
originated. On principal he does not see fighting in the tournament as the
true duty of a Lin Kuei warrior and despises Shang Tsung, but for the
sake of his honour he participates, if only for the healthy profit he will
earn afterwards. Like his ancestors, Sub-Zero lives up to his name by
wielding the power to lower the temperature around him to extreme
levels, after which he can expertly control the chilled air as he pleases.
Since his arrival on the island he has been haunted by a malevolent
yellow apparition.

efforts he was eventually beaten and killed by the crime boss. Smoke’s
remains were carried off for reasons which so far remain unspecified.

Not one to miss an opportunity, the Emperor decided to train her as the
third member of his elite assassination squad. Made to wear a veil to
cover her deformity, she was inclined to dress more provocatively than
her, ‘sister,’ as a means of attracting attention away from her face, a
tactic which she uses to great effect in controlling weak-willed males. She
fought Johnny Cage in the first round of the tournament and apparently
killed, but Mileena was lucky enough to inherit something else from her
Tarkatan donors -- their ability to regenerate from even fatal wounds.

powering on. For all his brutishness however, Reptile can be reasoned
with, leading to his surrender. He serves the sorcerer in order to free his
