First Stop: The Singularity Point
- Back to the Future/The Time Machine (1960) - the opening scene with all of the clocks
ticking in the clock shop is a variation on the opening shot in Back to the Future where
Doc's lab was filled with numerous clocks, and that scene in and of itself was inspired
by the 1960 movie version of H.G. Wells' novel
- Momotarou - the graphic novel Mike was reading is supposed to be based on the
Japanese legend of Momotarou, about a boy who was found within a peach, and fought
against Oni (demons)
- Dracula - Bram's mentioning of the novel as well as the Bat Imagine's image are in
reference to Stoker's classic. Likewise Bram's name was also taken from Stoker's name
as well

if there is a record for most amount of bad luck is a reference to the publication

that are in reference to the classic cartoon character
- Friends - Mike saying that the police would help him find the owner of the Rider Pass
after they have solved all of the crime in the city is a variation on a line that Joey said in
the Friends episode "The One With the Worst Best Man Ever" (season 4), where the
cops would only go after the stripper who supposedly stole Ross' ring after the NYPD
solved all the murder
Second Stop: Time Tripping
- Chronos - Peabody mentioning that Kamen Rider Chronos was named after a
primordial Greek god, is in reference to the god Chronos who existed in pre-Socratic
philosophical works and was said to be the personification of time
- Safety Last! - the man hanging from the minute hand after the Bat Imagine took his
keychain is a direct lift of the famous image of Harold Lloyd hanging from a clock in the
movie Safety Last!
- the cosmic calendar - Peabody mentioning that if you were to condense all of time into
a single year our recorded history would only be the last few seconds of December 31 is
in reference to an idea made popular by Carl Sagan

reference to something Doc said that Marty wasn't doing in BttF part III (and part II I
think)
Third Stop: Life With an Imagine

English lit is a reference to the book store chain
